​The Wonderworks Contemporary Craft Fair 2026 returns to the beautiful Dartmoor town of Chagford on 5th–6th December 2026, continuing a much-loved tradition that has been celebrating contemporary craft in Devon for over 20 years.

Held in the welcoming surroundings of Jubilee Hall, Wonderworks showcases the very best of contemporary craft from across the South West. Carefully curated and renowned for its quality, the fair brings together a select group of designer-makers whose work reflects originality, skill and thoughtful design.

At Wonderworks, you’re not just browsing beautiful objects — you’re meeting the makers themselves. Over two decades, the fair has become a well-established and much-anticipated fixture in the South West’s creative calendar. It’s a valuable opportunity to gain insight into contemporary craft directly from the makers who create it, to hear about their processes and inspirations, and to understand the craftsmanship behind each piece.

Here you’ll find distinctive yet affordable Christmas gifts alongside timeless pieces for the home. By shopping at Wonderworks, you’re supporting local artisan talent, sustaining independent creative businesses and contributing to the vibrancy of our regional craft community.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can take part in the popular Wonderworks Charity Raffle (to be confirmed) featuring impressive prizes generously donated by each exhibitor. All funds raised will support our sponsored charity, helping the event give back to the wider community.

Wonderworks Café
For the first time, Wonderworks welcomes Hippo Dartmoor   to provide the café over the weekend. Inspired by the idea to “let food be thy medicine,” Hippo is a café/bistro on the edge of Dartmoor serving delicious, nourishing food with exceptional flavour. Expect warming soups, fresh lunches and tempting treats.

Hippo sources ingredients locally and sustainably wherever possible, working with small farms and nature-friendly producers. Their menu celebrates wholesome, nutrient-rich foods that are good for both people and the planet.
